Rihanna says she's having at least three kids with or without a man

Rihanna has declared her intention to have children within the next decade – and it doesn’t matter if she’s found the right partner or not.

In a candid interview with British Vogue, the ‘Diamonds’ singer said since her 32nd birthday she’s realised “life is really short”.

“You don’t have a lot of time to tolerate shit, you know? You put so much on your plate. When you’re overwhelmed, you need to start cutting things out,” she told Afua Hirsch.
How much of that statement relates to the recent break-up of her long-term relationship with Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel is up to interpretation. Still, the Grammy Award-winner is determined to start a family – and soon – regardless of her relationship status.

When asked where she was herself in ten years, Rihanna replied: “Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient.”

“I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em.”

Hirsch then pressed the pop star on whether she’d become a mother on her own if she didn’t find the right person, prompting a “hell yeah” in response.
I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives,” Rihanna said.

“But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
